My trusty jitensha (bike): It has been and will continue be my main form of transport around the streets of Fukuoka. Comes with 22 inch rims (bigger than the ones on most cars), sparko suspension, brumbo brakes and a basket.... Nice......But surprisingly, with such monster bike stats, I have not once experienced or noticed giving my bike a second look when I pass by. bah...

My favourite haunt in town, MANDARAKE. 4 storeys of manga, toys and cosplay (anime costumes). My fav by far is the 52 yen manga section just outside the store. I've managed to get my weekly doses of Naruto, Conan and Yakitate Japan from there for just S$2 at a go.

Tenjin Chikagai - A sprawling underground shopping complex spanning some 2 km. Connects to all the major shopping malls in the area.
